Please read these terms carefully before using Pivotmindra. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these terms. If you are registering on behalf of a child, you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian and accept these terms on their behalf.

1. About Pivotmindra

Pivotmindra is a digital mental wellness platform for children aged 4–16, operated by Pivotmindra Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. The platform provides age-appropriate content, mood tracking, journaling tools, and wellbeing activities to support children's emotional development.

Pivotmindra is not a medical or clinical service. We do not provide therapy, diagnosis, or treatment. If a child is in crisis or requires clinical support, please contact a qualified health professional or visit our safeguarding page.

2. Eligibility and account types

  • Children (aged 4–16): May use the platform when registered by a parent or guardian, or through a licensed school/educator account.
  • Parents/Guardians: Must be 18 or over. By registering a child, you confirm you have parental responsibility for that child.
  • Educators: Must be employed by a school or educational institution and hold a valid school/educator subscription.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

3. Subscriptions and payments

Plans

  • Free: Limited access to content and features
  • Premium Individual (Β£8.99/month): Full access for one child
  • Family (Β£14.99/month): Full access for up to 4 children under one parent account
  • School/Educator (Β£199/year): Classroom tools and licensed seats for students

Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. You authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods, except where required by UK consumer law. If you cancel within 14 days of your first paid subscription and have not materially used the service, you may request a full refund by emailing billing@pivotmindra.com.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or another user's account
  • Upload or share content that is harmful, abusive, offensive, or inappropriate for children
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the platform's content or code
  • Share your login credentials with others outside your family plan
  • Use the platform to contact, identify, or locate individual children

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

5. Content and intellectual property

All content on Pivotmindra β€” including articles, ebooks, workbooks, videos, illustrations, and the Luna mascot β€” is owned by Pivotmindra Ltd or our content partners and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content outside the platform without our written permission.

Content created by users (journal entries, goal notes) remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to store and display it solely to provide the service. We never use user-generated content for training AI models or marketing.

6. Safeguarding and duty of care

Our safeguarding commitments

  • We follow KCSIE (Keeping Children Safe in Education) guidance
  • Luna (our AI mascot) is not a substitute for professional mental health support
  • We monitor for patterns that may indicate distress and surface crisis resources proactively
  • Safeguarding concerns can be reported to safeguarding@pivotmindra.com

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Pivotmindra is provided β€œas is”. While we work hard to keep the platform available and accurate, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that all content is error-free. The platform is an educational and wellbeing resource β€” it is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by English law, Pivotmindra Ltd's liability to you shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

8. Changes to the service and terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of material changes by email. Continued use after the notice period means you accept the updated terms. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the platform with reasonable notice.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer in the UK, you also have the benefit of any mandatory protections under UK consumer law that cannot be excluded by contract.
